Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director famous for his role as the lead of Birdman. The versatile actor is equally proficient in both comedy and dramatic. His professional career has seen him has played a number of roles in romantic scenes and played in action films. While still in his teens He began developing an interest in acting and performing. As an aspiring youngster, he tried stand-up comedy. The comedian had a lousy career, but it paved the path for the success of his acting career. Unable to find success as a comedian he took the job of cameraman for a TV cable station. It was at this station was where he discovered that it was his dream to be before cameras. In a few episodes, Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he was able to get a television part. He was a natural actor and gained popularity quickly on television. In pursuit of his dreams, he started a film career and was a household name for his comedy role. Additional recognition was received when he portrayed Batman's eponymous character as Tim Burton's Batman. He grew as an actor over time and ventured into the direction and production worlds. His performance in 2014 as Birdman earned him numerous accolades and nods.
