Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney, born Amal Alamuddin in Lebanon is an Lebanese and British barrister who was an activist for human rights over long. As a graduate of Oxford University and New York University School of Law her years of experience and accomplishments in human rights and international law has earned her acclaim internationally. She has represented a number of prominent nations, including Armenia that was fighting for its Turkish government to acknowledge as legitimate the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got engaged to and then married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household word in popular culture. In the years prior to that however, she was already well-known and respected in legal circles as a lawyer who consistently represents her clients successfully and effectively. Her expertise spans a variety of areas including social justice, and human rights to representing multinational companies in negotiations or the court proceedings pertaining to laws and regulations from the government.
