Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a lawyer in the British/Lebanese sphere who is a human rights defender and philanthropist. She graduated from Oxford University School of Law as well as New York University School of Law. The length of her career has been praised internationally by her contributions to international law and the field of human rights. The clients she has worked with have been many nation-states, among them the state of Armenia in its fight for recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney was engaged, and got engaged to American actor George Clooney, instantly making her famous within pop culture. Prior to this, she was established herself as a well-known lawyer in circles and was respected because of her ability to advocate for clients.
